The Evil Minded Lion

Once a lion, king of the forest had grown old so it was not able to catch it's prey for his food. He said to himself that he has to do something alternative in order to escape from starvation till death.

The lion gets tensed and said to himself, "I must do something to stay my stomach filled otherwise I am sure to die out to starvation". The lion thought and thought and at last an idea struck him. He decided to resort a cunning plan that he would lie down in his cave pretending to be ill, who ever came to enquire about his health has to be his prey for that day.

Thus the old lion was ready to execute his plan from the very next day. The old lion put his wicked plan into practice and it worked successfully. Many of his beloved friends and even well-wishers were killed.

But this evil deeds of the lion had a very short period of life. One day a fox came to visit the ailing lion. Foxes are cleaver enough than other animals.

So the fox which came to see the lion stood at the mouth of the cave and looked about. His sixth sense worked and he came to know the reality and what had happened before inside the cave of the lion. So cleverly it stands outside the cave and he called out to the lion and said, "How do you feel, sir?".

"Really bad," said the lion, "but why are you standing outside the cave my dear, please come inside". I would love to come in, sir, but I see that all foot marks point into your cave and none points out of it".

Saying so, the fox did not waited for the lion's reply and it just ran away from that place. It also made alert about the lion to the other animals too.

Moral : Evil has a very short life.
